aka. The boring bit so will keep it brief!
By making a booking, you enter into a contract with a fabulous Celebrant called Nichola Collinson (trading as Bespoke Celebrant Ceremonies).
ENQUIRY STAGE: After a zoom chat and confirmation that you would like to go ahead the date will be provisionally held in my diary for 14 days pending receipt of your booking fee.
BOOKING FEE: A non-refundable £100 booking fee is required to secure the date of your ceremony. By paying the fee you are acknowledging that you have read, understood and acknowledged these T’s &C’s.
SECOND STAGE PAYMENT: Once we have had our meeting and before I start writing your script I will request a second stage payment of £275. Once paid this amount is non-refundable.
FINAL PAYMENT: The outstanding balance is to be paid 4 weeks before your event date
CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS: Changes to booking dates and times must be notified in writing and will be accommodated wherever possible but cannot be guaranteed. If changing to a different year then the listed fee for the new year will be charged along with any supplement fees for Bank Holiday weekend dates.
Change of venue location will be permitted if logistically possible and any additional mileage fee will be charged if relevant.
Any cancellations must be received in writing. Once the initial meeting and draft script has been issued no refund of any monies paid is due. If cancellation occurs within 1 month of your event the final payment is due.
ADDITIONAL CHARGES: Any special expenses such as additional travel and accommodation expenses will be discussed and outlined in full before accepting the booking. Delay to your ceremony start and finish, for every hour or part thereof past the agreed starting time £75 will invoiced.
REFUND POLICY: It is extremely unlikely that I would ever cancel a Ceremony. However, I will use my best endeavours to find a substitute Celebrant to provide the service in my place – having worked in the Industry for a long time there are several people I can call on. Only if no substitute celebrant can be found will you be entitled to a refund.
LEGALITY OF CEREMONIES: You acknowledge your Wedding Ceremony will not be legally recognised in England and Wales. To formalise the legal requirements you must attend a Registry office (if you desire legal recognition) as outlined on the Wedding page. You will have the option of signing a signing certificate during your ceremony. The certificate is intended to be a memento of the occasion and has no legal status.
CONFIDENTIALITY: All Ceremony scripts and correspondence are owned by Nichola Collinson trading as Bespoke Celebrant Ceremonies. Copying, distribution or circulation of scripts by clients is not permitted and all wording remains my property. Scripts cannot be copied or forwarded to wedding planners, friends or family members without my express written consent and if cancellation occurs my scripts must not be used in any circumstances and if found to do so legal action will be taken. Your personal information will always be respected and never shared with third parties.
USE OF IMAGERY/TESTIMONIALS: Please advise if you would prefer not to have any of your ceremony photographs used in print or shared electronically. Images will only be used to illustrate and promote the services provided by Bespoke Celebrant Ceremonies.
