How far do you travel?
I am very lucky to have bases in two beautiful Counties – Lincolnshire & Essex which is where I happily spend most of my time. I am however very portable! Pop me a message and let’s chat logistics!
Are you a Humanist Celebrant?
Good question! No I am not, I’m an Independent Celebrant.
I am 100% sure your next question will be, What’s the difference?!
A Humanist Celebrant will only offer non-religious ceremonies; their ceremonies are based purely on humanity and reason and they will not add any ‘act of worship’.
Although not religious myself, I am happy to include any act of worship or indeed anything required to make your ceremony perfect. Your ceremony is about you and your beliefs, not me and mine.
How far in advance do I need to book you?
The more notice the better! My diary gets booked up quickly so as soon as you have booked your fabulous venue get in touch to see if I’m free!
How are you accredited?
I completed some super-duper, one to one training with the UK Society of Celebrants and now proudly own a Diploma in Family & Funeral Ceremonies. I keep up to date with best practices and high level of standards.
Can we write our own vows/promises?
Absolutely, I actually encourage it but only if it feels right for you. I can guide you through the process and give access to your couples file for some examples.
What do you allow in the Ceremony?
Anything goes! If it means something to you then let’s include it. It’s the reason I love my fantastic job as no two ceremonies are the same and I’m great at offering suggestions.
Can you keep a secret?
Yes of course and I absolutely love surprises! I understand discretion is incredibly important so I won’t discuss anything about your ceremony with anyone but you unless you ask me to.
Are you insured?
Absolutely. I’m the proud owner of a sparkly 5 million Public Liability Insurance certificate, get me! You can download this in your couples folder to provide to your venue if required
